Good Monday morning! A new week begins and we start off with a card that totally thrilled me on many levels. Let me preface this by saying that when we design new stamp sets there is always a “vision” of what the set will look like when used. Well, Karen’s card today caught me totally off guard, being absolutely nothing like the original vision. I was completely awe struck with how she used these elegant ornaments on her project today. I think you will be, too!

These ornaments have created dozens of gorgeous and elegant cards by our Design Team, and this is the first card I’ve seen done up in this vintage/grungy style and I am totally enamored with it!

Karen imperfectly stamped the ornaments with a light grey ink and used a variety of oxide ink colors to paint the ornaments. She then added the accent lines with a fine point black marker. The strings and sentiment were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black. I am over-the-top in love with this look!!!

The ornaments and sentiment are all from Christmas Joy by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

And I love the sentiment she chose. It goes perfectly with these happy vintage ornaments!

And Gingham Ribbon was used as a perfect accent to this lovely holiday card.
