Vintage Travel Happy Anniversary – by Deb Felts

Cards with a vintage theme always speak to me, and today’s offering from Deb certainly does. This week our theme has been cards for various life events and Deb chose to do an anniversary card. A very special anniversary card. Deb very successfully combined so many pretty things to create this over-the-top beauty. Just take a look and we’ll go through her supplies used, layer by layer.

So very lovely and romantic and so very vintage.

We’ll start with the papers used. Goodness, but is that designer paper GORGEOUS!

The designer paper is Capri by Prima.

The shimmer white layer and sentiment were cut using Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 105# Cardstock in Quartz White.

That layer of shimmer white was cut using the Mixed Media #1 die by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The delicate pink trim used is from our Pink & White w/Rosettes Vintage Sampler.

That gorgeous bow is made of May Arts 100% Pure Silk – 1.25″ Variegated in Pink/Champage.

Deb used a packaged floral for the flower center.

The sentiment on the card front is from Wedding & Anniversary Wishes by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment was cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Deb accented with a few sparkly Kaisercraft Rhinestones in pink.

Here’s a closer look at that lovely lower left corner.

The torn paper is just lovely here and isn’t that trim just perfect, too!

And here’s a closer look at that beautiful silk bow!

The absolute featherweight softness, silkiness and luxury of the silk makes it a perfect ribbon for those special cards.

And as always, Deb has a beautifully finished inside to her card.

The word ‘love’ is from Love by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The remainder of the sentiment is from Wedding & Anniversary Wishes by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
