Good Saturday morning! Another week almost under our belt. I have no clue where the days and weeks and months go! Julie is here today with a lovely sympathy card using a very comforting verse from scripture. Her layout is classic and simple, allowing the florals to take center stage. This design is surely worthy of replication if one wanted to create a nice stash of sympathy cards.

The poppies are from Pretty Poppies by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The scripture verse is from Blessings/Beatitudes SET 1  by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The lightly stenciled background was created with the Flourish stencil by Tim Holtz.

The strip of designer paper used is from Farmer’s Market by Echo Park.

Julie stamped the florals in VersaFine Onyx Black and colored with water-based markers.

She stamped the scripture verse in VersaMark and gold embossed.

Julie embellished with Kaisercraft Pearls.
