Good morning on the beginning of another new summer weekend! Julie created a card of comfort to share with us today using our NEW Mackinac Bridge set from our latest release – The Great Lakes Series. Julie kept her card simple and flat for mailing, adding some texture with an embossing folder and a few clouds in the sky.

The bridge and sentiment are both from the NEW Mackinac Bridge by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

I found it incredibly clever how Julie used the dies for the swans as clouds in the sky – genius!

(How often do we look up at the coulds and imagine what we see!)

The embossing was created with the Mechanics embossing folder by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The seam binding used is from our Blues Purples Seam Binding Sampler.

Julie stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black ink, clear embossed and colored with water based markers.
