We have had a little lapse in posting projects here as I have been enjoying time with family this week, but I did want to squeeze in this gorgeous patriotic card from Holly. She combined our NEW Patriotic Background with our American Eagle stamp set, with absolutely spectacular results. This card is a little larger at 5 x 7″ in size.

I really like this larger size with the background framed and behind a sheet of vellum. It offers a beautifully soft look while still showing through.

The eagle is from The American Eagle by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The background printed paper is from Stars & Stripes Forever by Echo Park.

Holly colored with Copic markers. She stamped the background twice, hand cutting the shield portion from one of the images and popping it on top of the vellum, with the die cut eagle placed yet on top! LOVE this look!
