CAS Baby Cards – Boy and Girl
I attended a baby shower yesterday afternoon for Deb Saaranen’s first grandchild. It was a beautiful shower with a radiant mother-to-be, lots of ladies and lovely baby gifts — fun afternoon! And all the good food was the icing on the cake!
It’s been super busy around here, so I made a very quick and easy card for the new baby boy soon to be born! Isn’t it amazing how everyone knows what they are having these days — LOL! Sure makes it nice for gift purchasing.
And once I made a boy card that was so quick and easy, I figured I’d make a girl card, too — just to add to my stash!
I used my ALL-TIME FAVORITE baby pad for these cards. I will NEVER tire of this collection!
Paper: Lullaby by Kaisercraft
The focal images for both cards were cut from sheets within the pad.
Spellbinders Dies: Square Nesties
And the ribbon I used is what I consider a PERFECT baby ribbon — love it on baby cards!
Ribbon: May Arts 1″ Stitched Satin – Pink and Blue were used today
The bows were made using the Original Bow Easy.
And here’s the girl version — fun to make!
Both cards are 5.5″ square and were inserted into 5.5″ Square Clear Boxes both for protection and presentation!
As I always say, people LOVE getting a card in a clear box — such a simple thing to do and they are always so impressed!
You can find more baby items in our Baby Category here.
All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
And that does it for today! Thanks for stopping in.
The DT has been very busy — scroll down to check out their projects!

Simply Beautiful. I like the layers of white around the focal image and those gorgeous bows.
Good morning Sharon
This is the way I love to start my Sunday morning. Opening an email and seeing your beautiful creations. These cards are lovely. Perfect choice of ribbon. Have a great Sunday.
Ohh, So cute. Really like how you layered the square die cuts. Of course, love that pink and blue ribbon!
Wow, how did you make those perfect bows?? Do you have a tut somewhere for those?? Gorgeous cards! 🙂
