Coffee Lovers Blog Candy still open.

We have some really fun quick gift ideas to share today that can really pack a punch once the bottles are all fancied up! I took the easy route by making  simple tags for syrup bottles that my husband likes to give out, Darsie created a truly WOW presentation for a jarred coffee drink and Holly created the sweetest small bottles filled with candy and decorated to the hilt with bits of this and that, gingerbread style. Hope these projects might give you some ideas for quick little gifts you may need. Take a look:

Quick and easy and not too fancy or frilly since my husband is the one giving these out.

All 9 tags made use the same supplies:

Paper: Joyous 6×6 by My Mind’s Eye

Stamps: Elegant Christmas Swirls by Becca Feeken for JustRite

Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door

Dies: Spellbinders Celebrations Pierced Squares and Circles, Standard Circle Nesties

Embellishments: Enamel DotsCozy Christmas by Simple Stories

Adhesives: Tape Runner, 3D Foam Squares

Here’s all 9 I made.

They measure 3 x 6″. So I just cut a 6×6″ sheet in half. No waste.

The MME papers are a bit thicker than some and of a good weight for these tags.

I love when all the syrup bottles are on our back counter with tags on, ready to go!

Once I have my 3×6″ sheet, I score it in half at 3″, then I use a Circle Nestie to cut the hole. You can vary the size hole based on the size of the neck on the bottle you are using.  These work for any type of bottles.  For a taller, narrower bottle, just make it longer, but you’d need larger paper sheets.

My sentiment strips were just all cut to 1.25″ wide. Then I stamped them all the same to save time, and hand cut the fish tails with my scissors. Nothing fancy.

A totally FUN project to fancy up a bottle of purchased food or drink!

There’s so much eye candy here that you just have to take a few minutes and look!

Holly used these cute little 4″ apothecary jars with cork tops, but any jar will do.  This would be fun done up with standard mason jars, too!

Do you all remember Holly?  She was one of our designers several years back before she ‘retired’, but gladly she is still creating.  She has this project posted on her Facebook page.

Holly used a large variety of items as she was putting this project together, so here we go!
