Happy Memorial Day to all!

Although this weekend seems to signify the entrance into summer, let us all be mindful of the actual reason and purpose of Memorial Day which is to pay honor and tribute to those who have died while serving this country in the U.S. military. Services at cemeteries large and small across this country will send chills down your spine as we see the graves decorated with flags and flowers, hear the bands and touching speeches and listen to the roll call being read followed by the gun salute. A somber and chilling event, in deed.

In observance of Memorial Day, Holly made this very patriotic card to share with us.

I love how Holly took the arched banner theme of the paper and replicated it in inverted fashion with her red die cut borders. Super fun!!!
