Deb is with us today and to those of you who follow us here regularly, I’m sure you are aware of her love of historic dress, sewing and all things vintage. She ran with those themes for today’s girlie Valentine, creating a drop waist dress with a pleated skirt reminiscent of the 1920’s. And now it’s the 2020’s – WOW!!! Take a look:

How fun is this with those gorgeous printed papers that look like fabric.

Deb created box pleats for the skirt portion, easily accomplished with a score board.

Ribbon banding with a fun bow/flower separate bodice from skirt just beautifully.

Loving this color combination!

A simple sentiment stamped within our pierced heart adorns the dress top.

And a simply finished inside completes the Valentine theme with a die cut heart and fun sentiment.

Deb puts so much thought and love into her card creations, and it is clearly evident.

Being one who has sewed for most of my adult life, I have a true appreciation for cards of this nature.

I love the delicate pierced edging detail and the somewhat plump shape of these hearts.
