Stamp Simply #161 – Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Café – Today we are thinking *hard rocks* — NOT music – OR eating!!! LOL!!! Think metals and stones as added elements for your project. Metallic pens, metallic papers, and rhinestones — gold, silver and diamonds – right? Feel free to use copper, rubies, emeralds, pearls, etc. Use these types of beauties to embellish and enhance your work today – can’t WAIT to see!
Anyone is welcome and invited to play! SCS Keyword is ssnotime161 for those who upload at SCS. There is no time limit. You can play this challenge anytime at all. The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!!
And if YOU play along, be sure to link to Mr. Linky below so we can easily find you. Please link the direct post, not your blog, for ease in finding the proper creation!

And here’s my card for today featuring some precious metals and gems:
My card for today is accented with my 18 kt Gold Krylon Leafing Pen and sparkled up a bit with red Kaiser Rhinestones on the berries. I am loving these fun die cut pads, and this is in the Glad Tidings line by K & Company. The focal image layered, metallic sticker is also in the Glad Tidings line.
All items used on this project are included in the Stamp Simply K & Co Glad Tidings Kit I’ve put together. All items are available for purchase as a KIT or individually. You may see them all, with prices, here.
Here’s a closer look at the detail. I edged in gold the panels I used to mat my Glad Tidings Grand Adhesions Sticker as well as the scalloped bottom of the sheet from the Glad Tidings Die Cut Pad. The Kaiser Rhinestone berries add some holiday sparkle while the Burlap String adds some texture and interest and works well with the overall theme.
I stamped one of the beautiful sentiments from Christmas Nested Sentimentsby JustRite on the inside in my fav ink for crisp, clean sentiments — VersaFine Onyx Black. The stamped sentiment is so easy to place properly on the page using the CLEAR Rectangle Stampers — just love them!
All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
