Workshop Card and Hostess Gift
This is a really quick and simple Christmas card I came up with for a workshop this week. The base card is stamped with snowflakes from Snowburst in White Craft. The DP is Wintergreen, bottom edge lightly distressed. The large star is stamped with Versa Mark on white and embossed with Irridescent Ice, then cut out– very sparkly. The centers of the snowflakes were then dotted with a glue pen and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds for a bit of all over sparkle!!! Super quick and easy card!!! Thanks for looking!!
- Stamps: Star Studded, Snowburst, Many Merry Messages
- Paper: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Wintergreen DP
- Ink: Black Stazon, Craft White, Versa Mark
- Accessories: Bashful Blue Taffeta, Irridescent Ice EP, Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals, Distressing Tool on Cutter Kit
- Measurements: Card is 5.5 x 4.25; DP is 5.5 x 2; Sentiment panel is 1.5 x 2.5.
The other card we’re doing at this workshop is the Ride ’em Cowboy posted a few cards down in the Boho West theme. I made the Hostess Gift to coordinate with that card as the hostess really likes the horse/cowboy theme, so this is my Boho West Hostess Gift.
My hostess gifts are never real elaborate — but I do try to fit them to the hostesses personality, and they usually seem pleased! This contains several 4 x 5.25″ pieces of the Outlaw DP, and a sheet each of Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow and Really Rust, cut into quarters. One tiny baggy contains 18 punched stars in the same colors and the other contains 18 brass eyelets (vintage) and a few yards of hemp. In the center is a spool (round tab punch spool — love that idea) containing 1 yard of 5/8″ wide Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon. I know my hostess, and I KNOW she’ll also carefully take the bag apart and use the punched pieces on the bag topper!!! I just love putting these little gift bags together!!! Hope she likes it!!!! I think she will!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Having hosted quite a few parties myself, it is always a wonderful touch when the hostess provides you with a little something. Love how you cater the gift to the hostess – so nice not to be “cookie stamped”. Love the Follow His star card too.
This is a wonderful workshop card! The snowflake background and the sparkles are just gorgeous! I’d love to receive your hostess gift, too. So nicely packaged–a real treat!
