And heres my sample:
When I first got my pad of Sultry by Basic Grey, I was just taken aback by this sheet of paper. I’ve been saving it because I knew I wanted to use it as an entire sheet and that I wanted tocreate an image that would blend right in with the design of the paper, and this is what I came up with. And I chose to use this sheet today because to me these colors are just really girly, and pretty!!! The card is 5.5″ square and the DP covers the entire card front.
My main image is the bleeding heart from Spring Ephemerals, which is a solid image set. I LOVE the versatility of these solid image stamps. They can be used to create stunning silhouettes or, as I did here, they can take on all the color you wish. I inked my stamp with my Color Box Chalk Cat’s Eye pads. These little pads work great for inking these stamps, and I truly find it relaxing to ink these stamps in this way. Sorry, but I can’t provide the exact colors for you. I stamped this image a month or so ago and never wrote down my colors. After stamping my image, it was cut and embossed with the Classic Rectangle Nestability by Spellbinders, then framed with the Scalloped Rectangle. My Sheer Apple Green Ribbon is doubled up to give it a bit more color, the brad is from the Sultry Brad pack by Basic Grey (it coordinates perfectly with the paper), and my butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch. They are two layers — cardstock on the bottom and DP on the top. Love the feminine look of this relatively simple card – -hope you do too!!!
- Stamps: Spring Ephemerals by Flourishes
- Paper: White, Pink Passion, Sultry Designer Paper by Basic Grey
- Ink: ColorBox Chalk Inks (Cats’ Eyes)
- Accessories: Apple Green Sheer Ribbon, Sultry Glazed Brad, Rectangle Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Mounting Tape

Oooooooooh, something girly! My favorite kind of card! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this bleeding heart look quite so gorgeous, Sharon. Talk about something that should be framed! This should be propped up on a dresser and used as room decor. It’s fabulous!
Your bleeding heart is gorgeous. I like the different shades of green you were able to get in the leaves. I used the same stamp on my card — with no green at all! LOL! http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/969198?cat=500&ppuser=72594
The girlie card sample is just fabulous Sharon. Your work is amazing! Love the 4th of July card too. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Even though we are Canadian, we have a son that has been in school and is now working in the States so I feel quite a connection. Have a safe weekend.
Sharon, I love your girly card. It is so feminine and so beautiful. You are right, that paper is truly awesome. It looks like you painted it to go with your bleeding heart. This is a real work of art!
Your Americana card is wonderful too. I was wishing yesterday that I had some stamps with this theme. But, I don’t so I will just have to enjoy yours for now.
And, may God Bless America!
Joan
Love the patriotic card, Sharon! And your challenge card is FABULOUS! I just love how the silhouette stamp goes so well with that paper! You really rocked that out! Thanks for another fun challenge! I hope everyone finds time to play this weekend! Happy 4th!

Ordinarily, girly for me would include something pink and flowery, but Krilla is girly to me cause she embraces her body image, wears bling, and isn’t afraid to dance 😀
The patriotic card is awesome and so is the girly one!
OK, I embraced my inner girly girl with this card — thanks for the great challenge, Sharon. Happy 4th of July!!

The “girly” card is so so pretty with all of the soft colors. I just love that stamp set you used and it works so well with the theme you’re going with. I discovered that I really enjoy participating in these challenges so as soon as I saw the requirements this week, my mind went to girly pink tones. Thanks for the challenge! Here’s my “girly joy” card.

Here’s a card I made this morning. Actually, it is a gift card holder, and thought I “girlied” it up with the paper punch, the soft colors, and the pearls. Here’s where you can find it:

Sharon what a gorgeous card! Bleeding hearts always remind me of my grandmother who grew them in her flower beds. We used to “pop” them, much to her dismay. 🙂
I’m in the challenge this week! Here’s my card.

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/976670?cat=500&ppuser=65735
And LOVE your girly card, sooo pretty!
I finally got to your challenge! My “girly” card is for a wedding. I used the colors that the bride has chosed for her wedding. They are not especially girly, but I’m not sure that you can get any “girly-er” than a wedding. I do however think that the glitter and flowers are very girly. Hope you enjoy – http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/976763?cat=500&ppuser=156271. Thanks!
I just wanted to let you know, I love this card that you have made, however are you aware that all of the links in your post are dead? They go to 404 page errors. I found your beautiful card doing a Google search on Bleeding Hear Rubber Stamps.
I hop that you can fix the dead links, as I really would like to purchase these components.
Thanks
