Stamp Simply #66 – Beyond Quick!
Keyword ssnotime66 -There is no time limit. You can play this challenge and upload yourproject at Splitcoastand/or your Blog, anytime at all! You (and that means anyone and everyone, blogger or not!)can play as many times as you like!!! The point is to keep it simple, quick and have fun!!! Please link back here.
As Christmas is literally just around the corner, any cards we make at this point need to be quick – really quick — BEYOND QUICK!!! And that’s what today’s challenge is:
Create a Christmas card (or card for other event if you are done with Christmas cards) thatis SO SIMPLE you could assume that someone CASING your card COULD MAKE 6 of them in 30 minutes or less — now that HAS to be a simple card!!!! No other rules. Can’t wait to see what you all do! Please note you do NOT have to make 6 – 1 is fine!!!
Please bear with us all as we are uploading and linking tonight!
Some great samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today can be seen on these blogs:Julie, Janine, Jennifer, Tammy, Dee, Becky, AJ,and LeAnne.
You can see all Gallery Submissions here.
What wonderful samples!!! Thank you girls!!! Much appreciated!!!
Heres myproject for todays challenge:
The group photo of my cards for todayis above. I made 7 cards todays using the punch-outs in the pack of Oh Joy Chistmas paper by Cosmo Cricket. These punchouts tend to be on the larger side, designedfor scrapping, but they are FUN to use on cards as well. All of my cards below used just one strip of DP, cut to either 1.5″ or 2″ wide, and then the punchouts, most of which are popped up on dimensionals. I added rhinestones to most, and string, a button or bow on a couple. I also added a sentiment on a couple from Many Merry Messages by SU. The paper is SU More Mustard and PTI Vintage Cream and, of course, Oh Joy by Cosmo Cricket. Here they are — fun, quick and simple.
Now I’ll need a bit larger envelope for my snowman as his hat extends beyond the card, but it was so cute I just had to put it on him!!! Aren’t these fun!!! If you have any paper packs with punchouts I suggest you pull them out and give them a 2nd look!!!
Thanks much for stopping in. I know how incredibly busy everyone is right before Christmas, and I’m totally honored that you took the time to stop in here — thanks so much!!! Hope you are off to a great weekend ahead!!!

These are all wonderful!!
I just wanted to say thanks again for your tutorials on how to size boxes. It is a life saver as I’m cramming in last min teacher gifts!!
I love all of your adorable quickie cards!! Your certainly can’t tell they were all that quick to make…and I love all of your accents!!
Sharon, I just marvel at what your “quick” cards look like. Well I’ll tell you what they look like, they look like a “million minutes”. They are just wonderful! I love coming here! Best, Curt
Hi Sharon,
Saw your comment on this project http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1163670?cat=500&ppuser=203664 and wondered if it qualifies for this challenge. My wife told me about this challenge. I did make 5 of them in less than 30 minutes.

Oh, these are wonderful Sharon!!! Fabulous use of the punchouts that come with paper packs. You have given me an idea for one of mine, but I have to work, so hopefully I can squeeze it in over the weekend! You truly are very inspiring, THANK YOU:)
These are great Sharon!! Love all the embellishments!
Have a great weekend.
What a wonderful collection of really quick cards, Sharon. It would be difficult to tell that it took no time at all to make all of them. My daughter-in-law wanted to make some quick cards the other night. She’s a new mom and has very little time for intricate designs. I made a sample for her, which I sort-of duplicated for this morning’s challenge. Here’s my quickie — http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1163745?cat=500&ppuser=72594
Those cards are really cute and although they do look easy enough I might find it difficult adding all the embelleshments and that’s what makes them so stinkin cute. I took the easy way out and used stickers. Pat

Ohmyheck! These are the cutest, Sharon! Wowzers! LOVE them! Everything you do is just beautiful! Hope you have a great night and a wonderful weekend! 🙂
[…] Sharon’s challenge this week is exactly what I was doing anyway, so it just spurred me on. I dropped in on the her guest designers too and picked up more ideas. Her challenge was to make a card so simple that you could make six in 30 minutes. I didn’t time myself but I made eleven last night, some like the ones above and some like the Wintergreen I posted the other day. I haven’t used Sage Shadow in ages, but I really like the crisp, snowy look the card has. But rather than make them all the same I pulled out my favourite Christmas combination Cerise designer paper, with vanilla and red! […]
I have been playing this challenge this week anyway as I tried to finish my cards. I think, I hope, they are all done now.
The colours are beautiful in your lovely line up above. Thanks, Sharon.

I needed to make some cards in a hurry this week so this challenge was perfect for me. Made use of my Old Saint Nick Rub Ons from Stampin’ Up! and I had a card in no time. Thanks for a great challenge, Sharon!

I finally got to it! It’s so nice that there are no time limits. My card (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1173301?cat=3233) would be easy to whip out with the stickers, pre-punched tags and the heart punch! Nothing to it really! Thanks for the challenge!
