Clean and Simple Summer

No ribbons, buttons or bows. Purely clean and simple for summer. Fresh and white.Last night I was at a gathering of stamping friends and Deb did a Copic demo and we all got to color — how fun! She brought some fun stamps and I chose this image by Cornish Heritage Farms. I thought it would be suited perfectlyfor a simple summer card.

My card is 5.25″ wide x 5.5″ high. My simple *Summer* sentiment was easily made using font by JustRite — Times New Roman, both Uppercase and Lowercase, used on a Harmony Rectangle Stamper. I love being able to create any sentiment I want, in any size! This sentiment is in 50 pt. font. And now that I’ve got *Summer* on my block, I think I’m just going to go ahead and stamp many of them on a sheet of white paper to have on hand for future projects. Both the floral image and sentiment were cut using Nestabilities, Classic Rectangle for the image andLong Rectangle for the sentiment.

Stamps: Image by Cornish Heritage Farms, Sentiment used Times New Roman Uppercase and Times New Roman Lowercase, both by JustRite, on the Harmony Rectangle Stamper

Paper: PTI White

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black (image) and Versa Fine Onyx Black (sentiment), Copics to color

Accessories: Classic Rectangle and Long Rectangle Nestabilities by Spellbinders, Foam Mounting Tape, SU Dimensionals

I’m so glad you stopped in today. I am so hoping to get back on a better schedule with more regular posts. I’ve so missed my time to create. We are having very cold weather, not the least bit summer-like, so I’m wishing for warmer days here soon; thus, the SUMMER card — LOL!!! Hope you are all having a good week and enjoying your summer!

Bow Easy Update: There are plenty in stock — no more waiting list — all caught up — YIPPEE!!! I do, however, have quite a list of people I could not reach for one reason or another — emails came back as failed, etc — if I missed you, it was certainly not intentional — just shoot me another email at [email protected]. All Bow Easy’s are now mailing out within 24 hours! Thanks! And I hope you are all having fun making pretty bows!

Not sure what the Bow Easy is? Read here and here.

  19. So crisp & clean … gorgeous! I’m not very good at these “clean” cards but you have inspired me to give it a try! You know me … I tend to like vintage clutter on my creations, LOL! But I’ll try to follow your lead … because this is just SO PRETTY!!
