More Challenge Fun!
Today I made a sample for DebDeb’s challenge over at SCS during the Dare to Get Dirty week of challenges. You’ll have to click on DebDeb’s link above to read the challenge, but here’s my card:
For this card I used one of the KITS I put together, the Stamp Simply Blue Awning Kit. I’m down to pretty much scraps of Blue Awning paper for my own use, so this card started when I picked up the brown rectangle scrap and decided that would be my focal image. Gosh, but it was fun to do something with just that rectangle and then lay it on a prepared card front. I added lace and ribbon, a few embellishments and a sentiment and called it done!
Paper and Embellishments: K & Company Blue Awning 12 x 12 Paper sold individually or sold in KIT form here. I used the Grand Adhesions Stickers to coordinate, sold individually or as a part of the KIT. Kaiser Rhinestones, also included in the KIT, add some sparkle and glitz.
Dies: Spellbinders Flourish Accents, Doodle Parts and Labels Four (for sentiment below).
Stamp: Birthday Centersby JustRite for 1 5/8″ or 2″ Stampers. Both of these sized stampers are now available in Wood or Clear.
Ribbon: May Arts 5/8″ Ivory Lace with 1/8″ Silk threaded through the center, easily done with a large-eyed needle.
