Gift Ideas for Autumn Crafting Blog Hop
It’s time for our monthly Stamp Simply Blog Hop and Autumn is the perfect time to get started on some of those projects we’ve been thinking about and putting off all summer. The Design Team at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store has come up with some GREAT project ideas and would like to share them with you today. Each Design Team Member was asked to create something they like to give as a gift during the upcoming fall and winter seasons. I know you’ll be thrilled to see all the fabulous gift ideas they are showcasing today!

Stamp Simply Kaisercraft Utopia KIT

I had so much fun using these products in the project I created for today, I thought maybe someone out there would enjoy using them, too! This is Kaisercraft’s Utopia Designer Paper that I recently got in (WHERE have I been??? This paper is to die for and I only recently stumbled upon it quite by chance!) I’ve paired it up with Turquoise and Celery 1″ Grosgrain with Satin Edges, some Moss 100% Silk, Satin String Leaves (all ribbons by May Arts), a package of Prima Fairytale Roses in French White and 2 packs of Rhinstones by Kaisercraft. These colors are SO luscious together! Read to the end of this post for how to enter!
All items used in the KIT shown above and in my project shown below are available here at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. They can be purchased all at once in KIT form, or individually.
The gift item I probably enjoy making and giving the most is a set of cards. I think a small set of 3 coordinated cards is a perfect little gift for so many occasions. I made this set with the Utopia KIT shown above and verses of Scripture using my Plain Janes by Verve. Take a look:
FUN to make and these colors just really did it for me! LOVE these colors and prints!!! The cardstock used in SU’s Certainly Celery. The Plain Jane Sentiments are stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and they are cut with Spellbinders Nestabilites, Labels 4 and Labels 10.
Ribbons used on this project are 1″ Turquoise Grosgrain with Satin Edges, Satin String Leaves and 100% Silk in Moss. The bow is made on my Bow Easy. The Plain Jane Scripture is Philippians 4:13. A Labels 10 Nesties die was used. The flowers on this project are Prima Fairytale Roses in French White.
Same basic layout, but a different orientation on this tent fold card. Labels 4 Nesties were used here. This Plain Jane Scripture verse is Psalm 37:4.
This card is a side fold, or book style. I again used the Labels 4 Nesties here and this Plain Jane Scripture verse is Proverbs 3:5.

When I was a new bride in the 1970’s, I had a bedspread and curtains that looked like your DP. I always thought they were soooo trendy and perfect, as is your lovely trio of cards!
