Thinking of You
Today I have a quick card and a quick post. I’ve been itching to use a Prima pad I haven’t had a chance to dig into yet, and today was the day — Alla Prima. LOVE the colors this pad has to offer. You’ll be seeing more from me with these fabulous sheets, but here’s the quick Thinking of You card I made today.
I LOVE these colors! I used a black cardstock base and piping strip, stamped a single sentiment, added ribbon and done!
The stamp used for the sentiment both inside and out is a clear set by Wordsworth called Heart Sing. I love the Wordsworth sets for a variety of unique and appropriate sentiments. They can all be seen here.
The ribbon is 1.5″ Silky Crushed Ribbon in Teal.
Here’s the inside, using a sheet from the Alla Prima pad and another sentiment from Heart Sing.
All coordinates in the Alla Prima Collection can be seen here.
The ink used is Versa Fine Onyx Black, my favorite for crisp, clear sentiments.
This card is 5 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ so it fits perfectly into an A2 Clear Box both for protection and for presentation.
All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Another notation — JustRite January CHA releases will begin to arrive here at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store on Monday, 1/09.
Unfortunately, we are still experiencing problems with the store running very slow and sluggish at times — if you are having a problem, please just try again — it comes and goes — my apologies! The web guys are working on it — but there was a delay! As I’ve said before, this has been a true exercise in patience and I do appreciate you sticking with me through this — it WILL get better!!! I’ll keep you posted.

Very pretty…I love the subtle print and beautiful colors…all put together with a pop of black!
Black as the card base?!? Don’t know if I have ever done that, even at Halloween. Got to give it a try. You so inspire me Sharon!!!
Hi Sharon,
Great card! What is “piping strip”?
You can refer to this old post where I show what I mean by a piping strip:

Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thanks
[…] Card sample with Rose ribbon here. Here’s a card sample with Teal ribbon, but it’s a different pad. […]
