Our Daily Bread Designs
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is so very pleased to announce that we will now be carrying the beautiful stamps created by Our Daily Bread Designs. These are quality cling mount rubber stamps with beautiful images, Scripture and other thougthful sentiments. They make into lovely greeting cards that convey a heartfelt Christian message and are a beautiful compliment to your scrapbook pages.
Deb and Barb will be sharing creations today as well, so let me get started with my project.
The card I made today uses Easter Blessings. I used 3 of the 4 stamps contained in the set. The Lily of the Valley was stamped very subtly behind the focal image sentiment.
The paper used on this project is Fiddlesticks by My Mind’s Eye.
The card is a standard A2 size, 4.25 x 5.5″, and will be stored and presented in an A2 Clear Box.
My focal image panel was cut with Spellbinders Labels 4 and matted with Labels 4 Small. I think this is just one of the prettiest, yet simple, dies. It’s been a long time FAV of mine. I just love the elegant shape. All Spellbinders in stock are currently marked down.
The bow is of 1.25″ Silk in Ivory, made on the Original Bow Easy. The flower is one from the Millinery Collection by Prima and this color is Bud.
Ribbons used for the lower detail are 5/8″ Pleated Satin in Ivory, 1/8″ Velvet in Turquoise, and 5/8″ Crochet Lace in Ivory. The pleats and velvet are wrapped completly around the card front and are easily adhered in place using Scor Tape.
All items used on this card are availabe at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

I will also take the liberty of showing you a card I made many years ago, in think in 2008, using another of the Our Daily Bread Designs stamps that I have in stock. Although this project is years old, I’ve always loved this project and I still have it.
As I said, this was made in 2008 for a Bible Verse Challenge. I had made a little index card box and was making these index style cards with Bible verses for the box. I’d really love to start afresh and do another! Let’s see if I can get that done any time soon!
The stamp used was The Lord’s Prayer by Our Daily Bread Designs. The papers and embellishments were a hodgepodge of miscelleous items, much SU.
The Lord’s Prayer is available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

The NBA lockout won’t affect the Jordan signature sneaker shoe line. We will continue to see new Jordan shoes for basketball and that is very good news indeed.
