Shoe Box Swap and a Winner!

I have a simple trio of cards to show you today. Jessie will be attending her first shoe box swap in a couple weeks. And on top of that Jessie has never stamped, so she’ll be in for a fun-filled day with lots to learn.
This is the shoe box swap card I came up with for Jessie — yes, VERY Michelle Woerner-esque. Thank you, Michelle, for your inspiration. I always love when you do circle cards of this nature.
Jessie is a bit more fun and funky than traditional and I know she likes a burnt orange color, thus my paper choice. All papers used are from the same pad — Devonshire by Kaisercraft — and it’s even on sale.

These were easy to prep making various size circles using the Spellbinders Petite Circles.
The bottom border strip is cut 1.25″ wide.
The sentiment is from Your Special Day Medallion Labels, a cling set by JustRite.
Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink was used — love it for crisp sentiments.
The sentiment circle is popped up with a 3D Foam Square – the backs peel off these foam squares very easily, making them my preferred choice.
The flowers used are by Prima - Delightful Day in Aurora.

I used Burlap String for my little bows.
Again, all papers are from the same pad – Devonshire.
This pad offers a nice variety of color and prints. This in the soft blues is my favorite!

As Jessie preps these cards for the swap, all components will be inserted in a Card Sleeve, nice and organized (see sleeve on left). Then once the participants make their cards, they can use the sleeve to protect their card (see sleeve on the right). Card Sleeves are available here.
And that’s it for this trio of quick and easy, clean and simple, shoe box swaps. I hope the girls who make them like them.
