Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style – Think Spring
Welcome to another Saturday of Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style. This week the design team girls are Thinking Spring. Spring perhaps has sprung for many of you, and some of us are just getting our first glimpses of it. Whatever your weather, we hope you enjoy our spring-like creations today.
Here’s the quick and easy card trio I made:
I’m excited about the paper I used for this project. I’ve tried out a new size that I’ve never used before. It is an A4 size which measures about 8.25 x 11.75″ . It is less bulky to store than a 12 x 12 but offers sheets large enough for an 8 x 8″ scrapbook page and is a great size for altered projects requring sheets larger than 6 x 6. The pad is Meadow Lark by Prima. SOooo lovely — filled with birds such as I used today and other pretty florals. This pad is also available in a 6×6 and as such the patterns are just scaled a bit smaller.
All the A4 size pads by Prima in stock can be seen here.
My cards today are my latest favorite size – 6.5″ x 4.75″. I make them that size so they will fit perfectly into an A6 Clear Box, both for protection and presentation, and mailing as well.
The sentiments used on all cards are Verve Plain Janes. This one is Psalm 46:10.
I love using Scripture for cards of encouragement.
All Christian/Scripture stamps can be seen here.
This Plain Jane is Psalm 46:1.
The ribbon used on all cards is Celery 1.25″ Silk by May Arts.
All the bows were made on the smallest legs of the BIGGER Bow Easy.
The flowers used are from a new Prima package called Charlotte in Lilac. They have lots of glitter on them!
All Prima flowers in stock can be seen here.
This Plain Jane is Psalm 37:4.
All stamps in stock by Verve can be seen here.
All the sentiments were cut using Spellbinders Labels Four (one of my long-time FAV dies). Labels Four Small is the coordinate to this die.
I used the smallest black pearls in the Kaisercraft Pearl packages for the birds eyes — adds just a nice little bit of dimension.
I also used Kaisercraft Rhinestones in Lilac and Split Pea.
This card trio was quick and easy as I made use of the pretty birds in the paper. Using paper in this way is always something I enjoy doing. Just add a sentient and some pretties — ribbon, flowers and bling — and you’re done!

The cards are beautiful; love the color combination you used and will try it soon. Thank you for offering the blog candy; a paper card crafter can never have enough ribbon! P.S. The card sleeves arrived and I’m so happy with the quality you’re selling and the quickness of the delivery.
Thank you, Gigi — that is always nice to hear. Most items ship out within 24 – 48 hours. If there is a delay beyond that, customers are notified.
And as to quality control — well, I only sell what I personally like to use. If it doesn’t pass the test in my own stamp room, it’s not going in the store!
