Wedding Duo/Less or More & a Winner!

Today I have a wedding duo — a less or more comparison, but first our winner from this past Saturday’s Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style hop where we were showcasing producty by Kaisercraft.  The winner was selected this time from Linda’s Blog, and random.org selected No. 16 who is:

Giovana

Here’s what Giovana had to say, referring to Linda’s project:

Beautiful mini-album!!

You can check out Linda’s gorgeous mini-album here.

Congrats to you, Giovana!  To claim your prize, just email me at [email protected] with your mailing address.

Thanks to you, Giovana, for playing along and to everyone else who played as well.  We enjoy when you paticipate, so THANK YOU!

Giovana won this beautiful selection of items from the After Five Collection by Kaisercraft and ribbon by May Arts.

Here’s the LESS version of my simple wedding card:

I used Bonjour paper by Kaisercraft.

All Kaisercraft 6×6 pads can be seen here.

All Kaisercraft products can be seen here.

The stamp, which is the PERFECT wedding sentiment, is LOVE by Our Daily Bread Designs.

It compliments 1 Corinthians 13 by Our Daily Bread Designs as well.

All stamps in stock by Our Daily Bread Designs can be seen here.

The ribbon used is 1.25″ Silk by May Arts in Blue.

I used 3D Foam Squares to elevate the sentiment.

The ribbon is merely wrapped around the card front and knotted in the center.  The sentiment hides the knot.

The gray cardstock is from SU — can’t recall the exact name.

Here’s the MORE version of the same card:

The only difference here is that I added the silk bow and roses, but it surely does dress it up a bit.

I used the Original Bow Easy to make the bow.

The flowers are a mix from various packages of Laraine Roses by Prima.

Here’s a better look at the bow/floral.

You can also better see the reflective quality on this gorgeous sheet of paper.

VersaFine Onyx Black Ink was used on the sentiment.

And here’s the card inside — it’s a small pocket to put a gift card into.

The pocket is held in place with Scor Tape.

This card measures 6.5″ x 4.75″.  I like this size as it fits perfectly into an A6 Clear Box both for protection and presentation.  I am using the MORE version of this card for a Bridal Shower on Friday evening.  I have a gift card to give, so it’s perfect!

Here’s the cutting/scoring directions.

Cut paper 6.5″ x 11″.

Score at 4.75″ and move over another 4.75″ and score again.  This leaves about a 1.5″ flap to fold up for the pocket.

Easy, peasy as they say!

Please Note: Score Boards and related supplies are ON SALE for a limited time only.

All items used are available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked above.

Classically elegant card. I am a big fan of bows and posies…but I kinda like the less version of this one more. Both are wonderful, though.

Elegantly simple card that would make any couple feel blessed. I like the addition of the flowers, but nice to know that you have choices! congrats Giovana.

  8. […] This is my long time favorite sentiment for wedding cards – 1 Corinthians 13.  I’ve used it for years on wedding card insides.  I used to do it on the computer, but now I’m SO happy to carry this single stamp by ODBD.  You can find it here.  It coordinates with LOVE that I used on my last post. […]
