Make it CAS with Negative Images!
Today Darsie has a fun clean and simple Christmas card to share with us where she used the negative piece once she die cut her tree. What a fun and easy way to create a CAS card, plus you get two usable pieces — you are left with the tree to use on another project! Take a peek:
Can you see what Darsie did here? She used the 2012 Holiday Tree by Spellbinders, cutting the tree from the green sheet of designer paper. Now, typically, we would use the tree and discard the “other” piece from which it was cut. Well, using these “negative images” opens up a whole new ball game, so to speak! She placed her negative image over another sheet of pretty designer paper, and — well — DONE!!! How fun is that.
