Jessie has a friend getting married this coming weekend and she and Ben will be attending.  Jessie wanted a wedding card with the wedding colors — sage, navy, gray and burlap.  After struggling (unsuccessfully) on and off all day Saturday to make these colors work into a wedding card, I finally put together this card quickly Sunday morning before church so I could give it to Jessie at lunch afterwards.

This particular layout has come to be an “emergency layout” of sorts for me — LOL!  When I need a card, and nothing seems to be working, this is what I reply on for  a “quick, easy and it always works” card.  I’ve made many cards over the last year or so with this exact layout — some fancier, some more plain, but the same “bones”.  This layout was inspired by Michelle Woerner and her fun use of circles — she is most definitely a “circle girl”!

All designer paper is from Fiddlesticks by My Minds Eye.
