Vintage Valentine – by Deb Saaranen

Published by at 9 00 pm under Spellbinders,Valentines

Today Deb has a beautiful vintage Valentine to share that she created with a Spellbinders M-Bossabilities embossing folder and heart dies.  Add a little distressing with ink and embellishments and she created this vintage Valentine:

Ooohh, this just evokes a HUGE sigh — oh my — just stunning!

You can see and read more about this card on Deb’s blog.

Deb used:

Spellbinders M-Bossabilities:  Mystic Embossing Folder

Spellbinders Dies:  Classic Hearts and Classic Scalloped Hearts

Ink:  Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Tattered Rose

Ribbon:  Seam Binding – Baby Pink and Rose Petal

Miscellaneous:  Prima Vintage Trinkets – Lock and Key; Thermoweb 3D Foam Squares

All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.

Seam Binding Sampler – Shades of Pink

I’ve put together another Seam Binding Sampler.  You’ll be able to create the exact bow that Deb created today with this Seam Binding Sampler in Shades of Pink.

May Arts Silk Ribbon Sampler – Pinks

We also have our always popular Pink Silk Ribbon Sampler for those of you addicted to May Arts Silk.  It is perfect for your Valentine themed projects or anytime you need that bit of pink!

Spellbinders M-Bossabilites – Mystic

All Spellbinders M-Bossabilities embossing folders can be found here.

Shown is the embossing folder Deb used today.  As you can see, Deb used Side B.  That’s the really great thing about the Spellbinders embossing folders — they are double sided. Flip it one way and you get one design.  Flip it the other way and you get another design.  It’s like having two separate folders, but for the price (and storage space) of one.  Great idea by Spellbinders!

And here’s one last thought – how about MAKING your own KEYS for your Valentine creations?  Easily done with this die set by Spellbinders – Jewel Keys.  How fun to create a key for any occasion!

As another option, you can refer back to this post to see all sorts of ready made keys, easy to grab and use.

All items available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, as linked.
