Background Stamps – by Deb Saaranen and Barb Schram

Deb is sharing a gorgeous card today that she made using a background stamp as her focal image and it’s just lovely!  She colored her image, dressed it up with a sentiment and bow and — DONE!  Gotta love that!!!  And Barb recently created the most adorable gift for a bridal shower that is one of those “Oh my Goodness!” projects!  You won’t want to miss it!  Let’s start with Deb’s card:

Soooo pretty — just love it!  What a gorgeous image!

See the full post on Deb’s blog here.

And if you missed Deb’s tutorial the other week on how to do that seam binding bow — check it out here.

Barb created this adorable project for her daughter’s bridal shower.  She has shown these items on her blog in pieces earlier in the month and now that the project is complete I thought it was just too great of an idea NOT to re-post, so here we go!

The bridal shower was wine themed so Barb made this wine bottle out of towels — how fabulous is this!!!

See more on this post on Barb’s blog.

Barb used:

JustRite Stamps:  Grand Damask Background, a cling stamp; Graceful Monogram, a clear stamp set

Spellbinders Die: Classic Hearts

The bottle cap was made of a punched paper circle and the bottle top was wrapped with Seam Binding – Darkest Navy.

This is the tag to adorn the bottle.

Here’s the bottle in the bag, with the tag, ready to go!

And although this could be a card front, it is actually a cover Barb made for a little book for her daughter.

I simply ADORE this color scheme!
