This evening I have two Christmas cards to share.  One is very quick and easy and the other is pretty much so, too, but just a bit “fancier”.  For both cards I used the same stamp set, O Holy Night by JustRite, and the same paper pad by Kaisercraft, Christmas Carol.  When the JustRite Christmas stamps were released in July, this was my favorite set at the time, and I was so happy to finally be able to sit down and use it today.  Every image on this set is just perfect.  I used three of the images on my cards today.  Take a look:

All stamped images today are gold embossed.  I really like embossed images on holiday cards.

Here’s my supply list:

Stamps:  O Holy Night, a small clear stamp set by JustRite

Paper:  Christmas Carol by Kaisercraft (Find Christmas Carol coordinates here)

Dies:  Square Nesties

Ink, etc: VersaMark, Gold Embossing Powder, Zig Painty Pen – Gold

Ribbon:  May Arts 1.5″ Gold Sheer with Gold Band, 1/2″ Sheer with Satin Edge – Antique Gold, Faux Suede Leaves – Gold

Embellishments:  Prima Lil Missy – Dahlia White, Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Bronze, Silver

Adhesives:  Tombo Mono Multi Liquid Glue, 3D Foam Squares

This card is 5.5″ square and very simple to create.  The image is elevated with foam squares.

I really love the flourishy look of the sentiment.  It goes so well with the fancier sheets in the Kaisercraft pads (Christmas Carol and St. Nicholas).

Here’s the inside.  Nothing stamped yet, but I’ll find an appropriate verse when I decide where it is going!

The paper on the bottom was just the scrap left from cutting the front sheet.

This card is a standard 4.25 by 5.5″ card.  Again very simple to create and I had fun with the floral corner.

I used the Prima Flowers linked above and I will say these come quite flat in the Prima packaging, so you need to fluff them up with your fingers a bit.  I made my corner by using two of the Gold Leaves under the flowers, but before I adhered my flowers I added a couple loops of the narrower sheer for a bow effect.  Easy-peasy as they say!

This is the inside, using another stamp from O Holy Night.  This would, of course, be a lovely stamp for a card front as well.
