Gray and Yellow Wedding – by Sharon Johnson
I had a mission before me last evening. We have another wedding this upcoming weekend and I needed two cards. I always like to try to do the wedding cards in the colors of the wedding, which are typically the colors on the invitation. Well, luck was with me and I had a card I made last summer in the perfect colors, so we’ll use that one. One son requested the other card. His requests are always the same — make it small (standard A2 size), make it FLAT so it easily fits in the slot of the card box, and not frilly. So, that was my mission, and I think I succeeded. Take a look:
Yes, it is A2 sized, it is flat and it is NOT frilly. Hope it passes inspection!
I was tickled as my paper colors matched the invitation so perfectly. My card is setting on the invitation.
It was FUN to make!
Paper: Cardstock in Gray (SU); Yellow from Core’dinations Signature Series Graphic 45 Lights
Large piece of background designer paper: Nature Garden by Prima
2 strips of designer paper in the foreground: Kaisercraft Top Hat 12×12 – GREAT DEAL – 10 sheets of 12×12 for $5.00.
(I ordered these 12×12 sheets in a large quantity by mistake, so YOU get the benefit of my error!)

Embellishments: Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Silver
Adhesives: Tape Runner, 3D Foam Squares
Here’s the inside. I used the same stamp set. I combined two sentiments in the set to create my inside.

Oops, I now see this was made TWO years ago. But it’s in perfect condition. It’s been stored in an A2 Clear Box, which I will also use to present the card at the wedding.
