Happy Birthday – Design Team Favorites
I love doing posts like this – pulling up favorites. Today I’m pulling up birthday cards created by our Design Team over the past year or so. It’s fun to re-visit these lovely projects. I’ll show you one card from each of our Design Team members with links to the major product used, then links back to the original post if you want more detail. Here we go:
I’ll start with a card I made using a LONG time favorite stamp. It’s a wood mount stamp by Wordsworth. It’s a fairly large stamp and my card is a bit larger at 4.75 x 6.5″ to fit perfectly into an A6 Clear Box.
Stamp: Birthday Blessings
Paper: Remember Me by Kaisercraft

This card was created by Sheri and I chose this card because I grew up sewing. My Mom taught me at a very young age (grade school) and until the paper and stamps took over about 15 years ago, I was immersed in fabric and patterns. Although I don’t sew very much any more other than to do repairs, I am partial to all things sewing!

I just can’t say enough about this pretty card. Linda used a multi-step stamp to create this lovely look. She used masking to create the florals and finished it off by shadowing with a Copic marker.

Oh, be still my heart! Darsie made this tag not too terribly long ago and it stole my heart. She used a gorgeous Kraft/Foil 6×6 paper for the base and embellished away.

Mirror Cardstock by Bazzill – 8.5 x 11

I simply ADORE all the pretties on this card from the stenciling in gold to the tiny roses and pretty lace. Gold accents are so hot and here Heidi incorporates gold x 3 on her card front.

Stencil: Flourish by Prima
Accents: DecoArt Metallic Lustre – Gold Rush (used to stencil – super shiny)

This card represents the classic and clean styling by Michelle, yet with so much “pretty” added in. Just love the flowers and sparkly lattice here. It’s an absolute breath of fresh air!

Paper: Follow Your Heart by My Mind’s Eye
Dies: Spellbinders Create-a-Rose Die D-Lites, Fancy Lattice

I love this card by Tricia. Orange is HER color and she uses it so well. The inside of this card is just as lovely as the card front, so I’ll show you that as well.
Love it when the insides are finished and this inside is just so pretty – it could actually be a card front!

And last, but certainly not least, we end with this gorgeous, classy and clean card from Holly. I simply ADORE the combination of the tiny dots, lace and rosettes.

Beautiful projects! Thanks for sharing.
Hi, They’re all beautiful! Happy Birthday, Sharon!
Really fun and awesome cards
Oh, Sharon, what a refreshing thing to see. Every card is beautiful, I LOVE the papers, stamps and ribbon etc. TFS.
I loved everyone of these cards! They’re the type of cards that launch all kinds of ideas. The gray polka dot c can be converted to a make card beautifully. Thanks Sharon for posting these (I would love to see more)! I love your site; the way you put together the embellishments to all match…just a wonderful pleading site..
(Sorry about all the typos. I’ll be more careful in the future. It’s 6:30am that might be part of the reason!)
So many pretty cards!
