Heidi’s lovely card today was made using papers from the beautiful Cottage Rose collection by Kaisercraft and some lush trim and lace. Heidi altered one of the patterned and embossed sheets a bit with her Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. Take a look:

Note the upper sheet. It started off as a white on white glossy embossed piece of paper from the Cottage Rose paper pad. Heidi lightly inked it with 2 colors of the Distress Oxide Inks and then used a paper towel to buff off excess ink on the embossed paper. The result is so pretty and allows you to adapt your embossed paper to any color that suits your project. I LOVE this idea!

That sweet picture frame sentiment was from the paper pad, too!
