We had another wedding yesterday and I made another of the FUN pocket cards that I’ve made several times this summer. They are so easy and an absolute blast to make. You need a Kaisercraft paper pad with the coordinating package of die cuts. The card is then packaged in a clear box and looks like a gift. Take a look:

This is the card all packaged up in a 5.5″ square clear box, ready to go.

It is wrapped with 3″ wide lace, tied with a silk ribbon and tagged with a punch out from the paper pad.

Here are the 3 components to the card – the box, the sentiment to tuck into the inside pocket, and the card.

The sentiment is the only stamping on this project.

Here’s the card. Soooo much fun to make.

I used coordinated Kaisercraft paper and a package of die cuts.

The card is 5.5″ square to perfectly fit into a 5.5 Square Clear Box.

Using a 12″ sheet of white cardstock, cut it to 12 x 5.5″.

Score at 2″ and again at 7.5″. Fold on score lines.

This leaves you with a 2″ pocket, a 4.5″ top flap and a 5.5″ square card.

I then made a panel 2.75 x 4″ that I adhered to the card front (it’s the hanging down piece) and I added all my die cut pieces to that panel (and they also extended above it).

Use both thick and thin 3D foam dimensionals to achieve the various layers of flowers.

The scrunched bow on the card is made from seam binding.

I used double ribbon (pink and white) and wrapped it around the legs 3 times, so I ended up with 6 loops on each side of my bow. I LOVE these bows. I make them the night before and allow to dry overnight. For this bow I used the smallest legs on the Bigger Bow Easy.

Here’s a look at the inside, showing the pocket and the insert I created.

Our check will also go into this pocket.

The pocket is held in place with 1/2″ Scor Tape on each side.

The lace is adhered to the Clear Box with Scor Tape.

The silk is just wrapped around and tied into a bow.

The tag is from the paper pad.

This is a similar card I did earlier this summer using PS I Love You by Kaisercraft (pad and die cut package). I actually did this card many times over for different weddings this summer.
