May Arts 100% Silk Ribbon – The Scoop

Good Saturday morning! We are popping in today to talk a bit about

May Arts 100% Silk Ribbon.

Available in 3 widths – 1.25″, 1/4″ & 1/8″ – in dozens of colors, both solid and variegated, by the yard or full spool (until sold out).

This has been our best selling ribbon for the 10+ years we have been in business, and if you’ve hung out here with us very much, you will have seen it used often over the years.

Well, sadly, it has become necessary for May Arts to increase their prices on all their 100% Silk Ribbon, and by a substantial amount. There have been other price hikes over the years, but never as much as this one.

But conversely, there IS GOOD NEWS, too!

All of the May Arts 100% Silk Ribbon that we have in stock will remain at the CURRENT (OLD) PRICES until sold out. Once we start re-stocking colors, those colors will be listed at the new (higher) prices.

We just wanted to let you know in case you want to grab some of your favorite colors before they sell out at the old (lower) price.

Let’s take a look at some card samples using this extraordinarily beautiful ribbon.

This card uses beautiful paper and the gorgeous 1.25″ Silk in Champagne.

Glue dots were used to hold the ribbon tails in place.

The bow was made using the Original Bow Easy.

Graphic 45 papers were used. This is an older/retired pad, but anything by Graphic 45 produces equally as lovely results with very little effort.

Much of the Graphic 45 is ON SALE right now.

The card uses the narrower 1/4″ Silk in Champagne.

It adds the perfect touch to this vintage project.

I love how it’s run through the tag and around the card front.

I love seeing flowers added to the bow center and/or a tag hanging from the bow.
