Deb created this lovely flat for mailing card in neutrals, almost a faded look, to compliment the verse of scripture used on the card front. This goes to show that we don’t always have to spend countless minutes (or even hours) coloring our images to create a lovely card. Sometimes simple does the trick just fine!

This card design offers a lot of interest and texture added with a variety of elements:

• The thicker watercolor paper with distressed edges
• The use of multiple prints in paper
• The scallop border punched out from the paper pad
• The bee printed ribbon strip
• The petite lace
• The brads (or enamel dots)

Deb added a touch of color to her floral, ever so lightly, and added to the vintage look with the ink splatters.
