Good Friday morning to all!

Deb has always been a fan of paper piecing and that is exactly what she did with our Summer Rose Floral Cluster today.

The roses themselves are paper pieced using a subtly textured paper from Echo Park, while the greenery and buds are colored with Copics.

Not familiar with paper piecing? It’s easy and fun. Once stamping and die cutting the original image, Deb stamped the same image again onto designer paper. She then fussy cut with scissors just the portion she wanted – and in this case it was the 3 roses, which were then applied OVER the roses on the original image.

If you have never tried paper piecing, give it a try – it’s fun, quick and easy and adds another way to complete your floral cluster.

And here is the inside, nicely completing the sentiment for a birthday.
