Tiny Fruit Cards & More – by Guest Designer Chris Franco
Happy weekend to all!
Chris is with us today and she has 3 fun projects to share using our NEW Fruit of the Spirit series of stamps. She created 2 fun gift sets of cards and another where she masked the fruit images to create a larger focal image. Let’s begin with the gift sets.
These cards are tiny little 3×3’s, a size I have always loved, being just perfect for a little note or gift enclosure.
Chris watercolored the fruit, matted with a coordinating color cardstock, stamped the name of the fruit in black and was done!
How quick and fun are these!
These are also 3×3’s where Chris used the fruit stamps to create background images rather than focal points.
With the backgrounds stamped in black, the sentiments embossed in white on black totally POP!
Chris used small strips of paper in the color of the fruit depicted in the background to add just a bit of color.
This is another fun gift set, both to make and to receive!
For this card Chris masked the fruit to create her larger focal image, and isn’t this just as lovely as can be!
Chris used watercolor pencils to color her fruit.
I love the sentiment and the simple matting in black. That is truly all this beautifully colored fruit needed.
