Happy Birthday with Silky Crushed Ribbon – by Holly McMillen

Good Monday morning as we begin a fresh new week. Holly is with us today sharing a lovely feminine birthday card with a nice big bow, which is actually just a knot with a bow-like appearance. Such a simple and fun way to create a bow when using wide ribbon – so easy, peasy! And we’ve got many more samples of bows with this beautiful ribbon just a bit further down. Take a look:
Holly used the pretty prints from the Greenhouse collection by Kaisercraft. I love how dainty they are!
Some die cut foliage and that pretty wide pink bow quickly finish this card off.
After Holly tied the knot to form her bow, she cut the ends into a slight V.
This is a great bow trick for those of you who sometimes feel a bit bow challenged!
The ribbon used is 1.5″ Silky Crushed Ribbon which comes in a wide array of gorgeous colors.
