Hope and a Future for the Grad – by Sharon Johnson

Hi everyone! We are continuing our week filled with flat for mailing cards for the 2020 grads. I always like to include an encouraging and uplifting message on my grad cards. This card includes scripture from Jeremiah 29:11 which is a favorite of mine for grad cards. This card is a bit more on the feminine side, done with a vintage flavor. Take a look:
This card is a bit larger than standard at 6.5 x 5″.
The beautiful papers are from Cherry Tree Lane by Kaisercraft.
The green is shiny and embossed while the brown has a gorgeous leather look.
The stamp set used is our Scripture for Graduation and Beyond.
This set is fabulous for the grads but also has scripture and generic sentiments great for so many other occasions in life. It is a favorite of mine!
The inside was finished off with more paper from the same pad and a simple Congratulations.
It all comes together so easily when working with such pretty papers.
And if truth be told, when I went to my stamp room to create this card last night, I planned to make a black and white grad card. Well, this gorgeous pad was staring right at me and I just couldn’t resist its vintage loveliness! Black and white can be next on the list.
