Masculine Yooper Birthday – by Deb Saaranen

Good Friday morning! Deb has a masculine birthday card today with a coppery, Yooper theme. Her son lives out of state and will surely appreciate this very Copper Country themed card. We live in an area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (The Yoop) known as the Copper Country so locals will surely relate and appreciate!
Look at all that lush metallic color and texture!
Deb created the background with a Tim Holtz 3D embossing folder called Mechanics.
She used watercolor paper and a combination of distress and distress oxide inks.
The UP was cut with our Upper Peninsula of Michigan die set.
It was cut from metallic copper paper and built up with several more layers of cardstock for dimension.
She worked with the same inks and a bit of DecoArt Metallic Lustre Wax.
The birthday sentiment is from our All Occasion Sentiments SET 2.
It is cut with our Fishtail Sentiment Banners.
What a fabulous masculine card, Deb, with wonderful local flair!
It would make a great guy card without the UP added if you’re not from this area.
