A Cup of Java – by Esther Asbury

Published by at 6 50 am under Uncategorized

Mornings that start with a nice hot cup of coffee or tea just seem to be better, now don’t they? Of course, a cup enjoyed anytime of day is always a little pleasure to look forward to as well! Esther created this fun cup of java for us this morning using patterned papers and dies in stock. Only the sentiment panel is stamped, so it’s a quick make on top of being over the top pretty and fun!

You have got to love that cup! I surely do. I have a set of 4 floral mugs that are my favorites in a similar floral pattern and that exact shape, so this card struck my fancy from first glance.

The set used for the cup, steam and sentiment is A Cup of Java by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is stamped onto an oval cut with Elegant Ovals by Spellbinders.

All that fabulous printed and woodgrain paper is from Farmer’s Market by Echo Park.

The blue die cut lace is cut with the Crochet Die by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

Esther also used Kaisercraft Pearls (Chocolate) and VersaFine Clair Ink (Fallen Leaves).

Thanks so much, Esther, for this very lovely and inspirational card!

A card that is super fun to make, give and receive!
