When it comes to making cards, using beautiful designer papers is my personal favorite thing to do. It makes for cards that are quick and easy, perfect for mass production, and most always stunning in their simplicity. And that is exactly what Julie did for her card today. That gorgeous paper that sets the stage for this card is from Sending Joy by Studio Light.

The beautifully scripted verse from scripture is from Christmas Peace by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is beautifully embossed in gold.

The lace is cut with Crochet by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

A strip of May Arts 5/8″ Twill in sage was used above the lace to create a lovely border.

Julie used a clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Marker for a bit of sparkle and shine!

I love that Julie distressed the edges of the designer paper sheet – always love that look!
