Vintage in style. Lovely shades of browns and deep blues. A masculine plaid. And those beautiful, beautiful books. Suffice it to say, this card got me at ‘hello’!!! A vintage theme never gets old in my book (pun intended)! Deb did a fabulous job on this masculine themed card of encouragement. And it’s actually a very simple make on top of all that beauty. We love that!

Just pause and look – and look again!

Both the sentiment and books are from the NEW A Man of Knowledge by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

That lovely plaid paper is from Woodsy Plaid by Memory Box.

The map is a scrap Deb had – original source unknown.

The ribbon is from our Seam Binding Sampler – Patina.

Deb stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers.

She used distress inks to age the edges and a gold gel pen to add accents.

Beautifully done with wonderfully encouraging and comforting words from scripture.

I love the color choices on these books – drawn from the plaid paper used.

You can see the accents from the gold gel pen with this view.

And, of course, Deb finished off the inside, too!

The keys are included in the die set from A Man of Knowledge by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Deb grunged them up for the perfect finishing touch!
