Patriotic cards have been the focus this week and we are back on track with this lovely vintage themed card by Deb. She used ink to distress her crisp blue and white papers to a more subdued and vintage colorway and then used diluted ink in metallic copper, red and blue, along with white acrylic paint, to create the generous spatters, further enhancing that vintage theme.

I always love a card with a vintage Americana feel – this is just lovely!

The stamped flag and background are from The Red, White & Blue by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is from Patriotic Sentiments by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment was cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The stars were cut using Patriotic Stars & Stripes (Old Glory) by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The stars were cut from Bazzill Mirror Cardstock in Gold.

The designer paper used is from Let Freedom Ring by Echo Park.

Deb stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers.

To make the splatters Deb used Delicata Ink in Celestial Copper, plus red and blue ink and white acrylic paint.

To distress the paper Deb used Distress Ink in Tea Dye.

That Mirror Paper for the stars is perfect and I love the way the Fishtail Sentiment Banner is slightly elevated and curled on the left side.

And here is the beautiful card inside, using all the same products as on the card front.
