Good Sunday morning! Judy created a gorgeous tag for us today, using a sentiment from our Pastor Appreciation Series, but like so many of the sentiments in those sets, this tag works for anyone, anywhere, anytime! I love the vintage theme with the beautiful fall colors, foliage, lace and scrunched up and frayed seam binding.

What a gorgeous tag to dress up any gift bag. Even a brown paper sack (often my choice of preference) will look so elegant with this tag!

The sentiment is from Pastor Appreciation Greetings by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Judy cut the sentiment with a circle die – similar found here.

The tag base was cut with the Tag Collection die by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The stenciling on the tag base was done using the Flourish stencil by Tim Holtz.

All the leafy pieces were cut using the Fall Foliage die by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

That lovely lace is our Venise Lace – .75″ Lucia Ivory.

The scrunched up and frayed ribbon is from our Seam Binding Sampler – Vintage Neutrals.

Judy accented with Kaisercraft Pearls in Latte and stamped using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

And here is a quick ‘how-to’ from Judy:

I started my tag by stenciling with various colors of Distress Oxide ink using the Flourish stencil. I then cut the Fall Foliage leaves from gel prints and backgrounds made with acrylic paints. I added spots of gold with Gold Leafing on some of the leaves. I added the Venise Lace and stamped circle sentiment, then added Latte pearls on the circle as well as on the tag itself. I tea dyed and crinkled my seam binding (previously), and tied a double bow, fraying the edges.
