Good Monday morning. We begin a new week and this week we will be featuring projects with a fall theme. Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere I look these days! They surely dress and brighten up the landscape in our rural area. Karen has a beautiful pumpkin card to share today done up with green pumpkins and white barnboard. Super lovely!

There’s a tranquility to this card that I LOVE – perhaps due to the green pumpkins and falling leaf.

Interesting to note is that Karen stamped the pumpkins and leaf onto the woodgrain paper which adds the ‘board lines’ you see on the images. I think it adds a nice rustic/country charm to those images.

The sentiment and pumpkins are from Welcome Fall by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The falling leaf is from Harvest by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The woodgrain paper used is from Wood Textures by Craft Consortium

For added texture, note that behind the pumpkins is a sheet of embossed vellum.

The vellum was embossed using the Lumber embossing folder by Tim Holtz.

Karen added a simple strip of Seam Binding with a bow for just the perfect finishing touch!
