Those of you who know me and my tastes will well recall how I love holiday cards done up in non-traditional colors. Karen pulled together a wonderful Christmas tree card done up in soft pinks and purples for today’s project. It is absolutely delightful in cotton candy colors with a snowy and star filled background.

The trees are from O Christmas Tree by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is from Snowflake Blessings Border Strip by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment was cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The embossing folder used is Snowfall Speckles by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The sparkly stars are from Welcome Baby Basics die set by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The background paper is from Ink Drops Rose by Craft Consortium.

You can see the trees up close in this photo. Karen used pink and raspberry oxide inks – just lovely!

The tiny ornaments are styrofoam balls – very tiny!!!

In this photo you can also see the subtle snowflakes stamped on the background paper on top in what appear to be tone on tone purples; however, Karen actually has those snowflakes embossed in a very fine sparkly silver embossing powder – such a subtle look!

The snowflakes are also from Snowflake Blessings Border Strip by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
