Good Wednesday morning. I love when our designers come up with creative ideas and ways to use products that we all love. The Ink Drops collection of papers by Craft Consortium are super hot paper pads for card makers with their absolutely gorgeous sheets of faux alcohol ink designs. Jill used one of those sheets in a slightly different way on her birthday card for today and we are so thrilled with it! (Storewide sale details at end of post).

Jill fussy cut along some of the gold ink veins in the paper to create her lovely jagged edge design.

As an aside, my brother-in-law is a geologist and when I saw this card it made me think of him – LOL. This idea could be used just as well on a masculine card and also for cards for those ‘rocker lovers’ amongst us. Living on the shores of Lake Superior and in a copper rich land we have a lot of rock hounds amongst us and I think this design would suit them perfectly!

The tiny little sprigs are from Farmhouse Signage by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The shiny gold mat/framing on this card uses Bazzill Mirror Cardstock in gold – STUNNING PAPER!

Jill stamped with VersaMark, embossed in gold, added sparkle with Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker and added Kaisercraft Pearls in Black.
