Happy Valentine’s Day X 2 – by Karen Letchworth

Good Monday morning. This week our Design Team will be sharing love themed cards – Valentine, wedding, anniversary, etc. Karen starts our week off with 2 fun Valentine cards – one in her wonderful vintage styling and the other with a more fun-loving twist – both perfect to show someone you love them.

We always adore Karen’s vintage cards and this one is no exception.

This card is simply a matter of layering up a lot of pretties.

It all starts with a base layer of paper from My Valentine by Carta Bella.

The sentiment is from Typewritten Year Round Greetings by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The hearts are cut with Farmhouse Pierced Nested Hearts by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The top heart is cut from wood felt (no problem cutting it).

Karen also used a paper doily, small Kaisercraft Flowers and black string.

The machine stitching is always such a fun accent!
