Today we have a gorgeous sympathy card from Julie. It really pops with the red and white color scheme and has a ton of lovely texture from heat embossing, dry embossing, lace, ribbon and layering. Julie made this card for a friend who lost her Mom and I am sure her friend was touched with such a lovely and meaningful card.

The scripture verse is from Fear Not by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The scripture is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

A portion of the background was embossed with the Brickwork embossing folder by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

It’s hard to see, but there is a small background stamp included in Pretty Poppies, and Julie stamped that and embossed it in white on the top portion of the card.

The ribbon used was 1.5″ Raschel Lace along with Seam Binding.
