Good Monday morning! Another new week begins and with Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in the not too distant future we decided to share feminine and masculine cards this week with those holidays in mind. But of course, the designs shared can truly be used at any time of year! Karen starts us off with this stunning masculine themed card.

Here is the card front – love how the backdrop looks like a mount for the buck.

The buck and sentiment are both from A Godly Man by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The woodgrain background was created using paper from Wood Textures by Craft Consortium and then dry embossing the paper with the Lumber embossing Folder by Tim Holtz. Doing this lends such a realistic look to the woodgrain background!

Karen used a retired Spellbinders labels die and a crimper to create that fun mount background.
