God Bless the USA – by Deb Felts

Today we are sharing a gorgeous center step card from Deb Felts done in a stunning patriotic theme. From stamped images, backgrounds and sentiments to designer paper, both outside and in, this card is so beautifully coordinated with a stand up and salute formality to it and a vintage vibe as well. YES! God Bless the USA!

This is another of those cards I can’t seem to pull my eyes away from – super stunning!

Deb used this center step card tutorial for the cut/score measurements.

The flag and background are stamped using The Red, White and Blue by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

God Bless the USA is from Patriotic Sentiments by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The stars were cut using the die in our Old Glory Bundle by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The papers used are:

Brick Textures by Craft Consortium

The gold paper to cut the stars is the Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 105# Cardstock in Gold.

Here’s a closer look.

I love how Deb split the flag paper and how she used the brick paper under the word collage background.

And here is the inside to Deb’s card – again, stunning!!!

And here’s a helpful hint. Note at the top, notches had to be cut out of the brick paper. Rather than trying to snip by hand or with a paper cutter, Deb used Spellbinders Standard Squares to quickly and easily cut out her notches.

The Pledge of Allegiance is contained in Scripty Background Minis SET 2 by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The USA is from Old Glory by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Various inks used on this project are Memento, Copics to color, distress ink to age, and Delicata Celestial Copper to spatter.
