Patriotic Eagle – by Deb Felts

Published by at 6 45 am under Uncategorized

Good morning to all! Deb is sharing an absolutely stunning patriotic card today with reference to 1776, the year our country declared independence from Great Britain and became the United States of America. The 250th birthday celebration of the USA will be here soon, in the year 2026. Deb’s card today brought that all to the forefront of my mind and her card is a spectacular symbol of these United States of America.

What a fabulous card to celebrate The United States of America!

The bald eagle is from The American Eagle by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Spellbinders Standard Circle dies were used to create the window opening and highlight the eagle.

Patriotism is included in The Pledge of Allegiance by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is cut with Fishtail Sentiment Banners by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The star is cut using the Stars & Stripes (Old Glory) die set by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The small numbers 1776 were cut using the Collector die set by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

That gorgeous designer paper is from Let Freedom Ring by Echo Park.

Deb stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her eagle with Copic markers.

Here’s an up close look at that majestic bald eagle.

All the gold elements were cut from our Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 105# Cardstock in gold.

Here’s a close up of the sentiment.

Note all the accents done with metallic gel pens.

And here is the card inside. As always, beautifully coordinated to the card front.

Thank you so much, Deb, for this stunning card that would be perfect for any patriotic need.

You can find Deb’s post on her blog here.
